Arimars Joins The Metaverse Standards Forum

Excited to announce that Arimars has joined the Metaverse Standards Forum as a Principal Member. Alongside industry leaders such as Adobe, Autodesk, Google, Microsoft, the forum aims to develop interoperability standards for the open metaverse. The Forum will work with leading standards organizations to create necessary standards and concentrate on practical projects to advance testing and deployment.

The metaverse, encompassing a range of technology including interactive 3D graphics, AR/VR, real-time collaboration, and digital twins, must be built on open standards to reach its full potential, agree multiple industry leaders. The Forum brings together diverse organizations and companies to align priorities and reduce duplicated efforts.

Hosted by the Khronos Group, the Forum is open to any company, university, or standards organization with a simple agreement and no cost to participate. Companies can choose to provide oversight and funding for projects through principal membership. The Forum’s focus will be determined by members’ needs and may include technology domains such as 3D assets and rendering, AR/VR, and user-generated content. Join Arimars and leaders in shaping the future of the open metaverse.
